VeridianWare has two projects coming to completion shortly
and a question to ask you.
InnMinder
Scheduled for release in Q1 of 2015 is InnMinder - a new app that allows a Bed and Breakfast or Inn owner to run their entire operation from a tablet. Designed in consultation with experienced small inn operators, the program is designed to meet the back office needs of an innkeeper.
There are booking engines available to small operators and there are full hotel applications available for large hotels, but InnMinder is targeted for the large, untapped market segment of small inns with fewer than 8 rooms.
Initially, the app will be released for the iPad, with Android and Windows apps to follow by year end.
Phizzio
Scheduled for release near the end of Q3, 2014 is Phizzio - a mobile application that allows you to find health care services near your location.
Need a flu shot? Non-Emergency care? Check prices and locate providers near you. The Phizzio app and associated Phizzio.com are entering final run and test.
A Politically Incorrect Question
Two independent C# programmers were standing in a long line at the airport, trying to straighten out their fouled up travel plans. One turns to the other and asks, "Exactly how many companies do you know of, who outsourced their programming to India, and three years later said, Wow - that was a great idea?"
